With my Flip MIno back fully operational and a blue sky above I was ready for an investigative run. The plan had not been fully formulated although a general direction had been contemplated. The intention was to investigate the feasibility of crossing the River Don at the former Grandholm Mills and run round Tillydrone, St Machar's Cathedral, Seaton Park and The University of Aberdeen's Hillhead Halls of Residence before returning home via Balgownie Road. The feasibility study was concluded in 13 minutes and the outcome was an implementation of the proposal.

It was a nice sunny morning (29/07/2009) and to investigate new jogging paths was stimulating, interesting and rewarding. Certainly an experience to be repeated and perhaps extended through the addition of additional loops to the route.

When my mind could be extricated from the environmental details of the moment the juxtaposition of the joy of having just become the owner of another iMac computer and the frustration of an unsuccessful attempt to use the Migration Assistant software supplied by Apple, were considered in detail.
