ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line)

This is an outline description of what I have adopted with respect to ADSL hardware and an ADSL service provider.

Problem 3

To physically set-up the hardware, to configure the router/modem and the computers, and to get online.

Solution 3

It is not difficult to make the necessary connections. Probably the only point to note is that the RJ45-RJ45 Cable from the router to the hub is connected to the Uplink port on the hub.

Back of the hub

Of the three RJ45-RJ45 Cables which are to the back right, two go to computers and one to a printer. The RJ45-RJ45 Cable at the back left goes from the Uplink port on the hub to the ADSL router/modem.
